We're Back!
Well it has been a long, hard road, eight months to be exact, but we finally have the Cajun Fishing Adventures lodge back up and running after Katrina came knocking at, or should I say crashing down, our door.
The lodge has been re-built from the 2 x 4's up and is back to its old self. Some say even better than before.
Though the landscape may have changed, the fishing has only become better than ever and the lodge is ready for your business.Thank you to all who have helped us with our re-building and to our customers for being patient with our progress. Come Experience Sportsman's Paradise
Champion Charters would like to invite you to the "Sportsman's Paradise", where we will fish the Louisiana Delta in all its splendor. The delta holds the   key to a fishing vacation that you will not soon forget. In her fertile waters, trout and redfish abound to test the skills of anglers from around the world. Champion Charters specializes in light-tackle, inland saltwater fishing for redfish and speckled trout in Venice and throughout Plaquemines Parish. We would like to take you on an adventure through vast marshlands, and open saltwater bays in search of our quarry. Upon departure, you will find yourself running through a maze of bayous, bays, and marshes on your way to one of the many fishing locations in the area. We will toss artificial baits over oyster reefs, or in the many duck ponds that fill our marshes. The delta waters are packed with drag stripping reds and tail walking trout. The action is second to none. Champion Charters uses high-quality light tackle rods and reels at no extra  charge; however, if you are more comfortable with your own equipment we encourage you to bring it along. We use 6'6"-7'0" medium action rods and reels that are capable of holding 100-150 yards of 12-15 lb. line. If you bring your own we recommend you use the same. This particular combination of rod and reel will maximize your fishing enjoyment. So whether you're throwing a spinner to a cruising redfish or tossing jigs into a school of frenzied speckled trout, it will be a sporting and rewarding experience.The Champion Charters team of experienced guides will go out of their way to ensure you have a great time, and fill your ice chests too. Come experience all of what the "Sportsman's Paradise" has to offer, and let Champion Charters be your guide.   Champion Charters proudly uses Skeeter boats from 22 to 24 feet. These Skeeter boats make for a dry comfortable ride to and from your fishing locations. Our boats are equipped with all the latest electronics including, depth finders, GPS units and cell phones, as well as Yamaha 225HP 4-stroke motors to make your vacation safe and fun. The spacious layout allows comfortable fishing for four anglers of all skill levels.
